CRUSH ALERT - Argentina President Cristina Fernandez - Dog Friendly Flying!
Pet blog
What a nice approach to start the season! If only Australian airlines could grab the interest rate and permit our dog loving country allowing our pets to visit SAFELY (taking a look at your Qantas & Virgin).
Pet friendly flights
Argentina President Cristina Fernandes has announced a modification of policy at the state-run airline allowing passengers to transport their already notoriously-pampered lapdogs with them on flights. Obama said the perk will probably be shared by travellers on Aerolineas Argentinas, the country's main carrier during the early 2015!
It's easy to see from the President Facebok account that she loves her dear Lolita (pictured above) and shares our love for fur kids! The photo posted above has currently received 41,697 likes (including one from us).
Inside a city of 3 million humans, you will find over 500,000 dogs as pets, making dog watching in Buenos Aires just as plentiful as people watching, and simply as entertaining. With lots of shopping centres and restaurants wiling to look after your pets we think Australia should lighten up a little and stick to the lead of this dog loving President.
Muy Buena Ms Fernandez!
Unfortunately for us back here in Australia flying together with your pets is rarely an event links without high levels of stress. Around australia pets are kept in pressurised, climate controlled areas inside the plane. Most horror stories happen during layovers or delays when the air is switched off inside the plane. It may get really hot on the market on the tarmac.
In 2006 QF9, was because of depart at 5.10pm but was delayed in Melbourne for five hours. Sadly, Phoebe the Golden Retriever died on that flight. In Feb 2013 Charlie the Australian Bulldog died on the Virgin flight where an autopsy revealed his lungs were collapsed and shrunk and put his death right down to heat stress and respiratory exhaustion. Feb 2014 Buster in france they Bulldog died we have spent four hours in a delayed aircraft about the tarmac at Sydney Airport on a Qantas flight.
There are other plus more stories similar to this and it breaks our hearts. If you are travelling along with your pet take ALL precautions, you'll never be too cautious. Ensure you speak to professionals!

Research your options - don't travel in cause problems, it's just not worth the cost and when you, like us, believe there ought to be an easier way then sign our petition asking Qantas & Virgin to produce flying with this household SAFER to the information.
It's just first but together we can really make a difference!
